Pharoh Cooper Appreciation Thread

I just want to point out, when was the last time the Panthers dedicated a position on the team to a good return man? 2008 with Mark Jones? The return position seemed especially de-valued under Rivera. The last time I saw a competent return game from the Panthers was 2017 when Christian McCaffrey was handling punts because he was a rookie.

Pharoh Cooper has been solid so far and has shown potential to maybe break a TD or two at some point this year. I'm excited the position was finally given some attention this offseason, instead of throwing random fumble prone castoffs like Ray Ray McCloud at the position.

Cooper has looked solid.  Solid is as bar rarely achieved in Carolina's return game.

I'm really happy with Cooper. Still hold my breath a bit with him back there though due to his past issues with muffs/fumbles, but so far he's been great for us. Has added a bit of a return threat and has been steady with taking care of the ball so far (though I think he did have 1 muff in the first 2 games that went out of bounds luckily).
