If you were watching the game, Brown was a force the entire game.  A beast.  Start watching him in relation to what his job is--when he was not doubled, he made plays.  When he was doubled, he held his ground.  If you are looking for a 30-yard pick six from him, he did not do that.

To be fair, you don't even have to watch the game to see he made an impact. If you just look at the damn Box Score he had 3 TFL. That's an impact.

I had to miss most of the game for a family event.

That being said, I did catch the end and I'm not the biggest fan of Boston but I did notice him make a great play in the endzone against Keenan Allen at the end of the game after the corner who was guarding him fell to the ground. This one play could have cost us the game.

Again I wasn't able to watch or see it, but apparently Shaq had 13 tackles and a forced fumble and fumble recovery, 2 passes defensed and was handed the game ball.

Lastly, I saw D-jax had a near pick 6 and returned a interception nearly 70 yards.

So not sure how these guys could be listed as fallers, as this seems like much improvement for the 3 of them from last week.

Really wish I could have seen this whole game, but can anyone quickly fill me in on why we had to kick so many damn field goals? Was it bad play calling, poor execution or both?

Yeah like all these other people we get a win yesterday and still want to poo on the team for not losing. The tank for someone is a damn myth. This players don't want to lose, if they lose alot it's because they are just not good enough to win. They are not trying to go out there and damn lose. Is that better for you and the people on here that are not fans of this team.

It's not a myth, when it's actually worked with Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, etc. To be fair, the coaching staff and the owner said we're rebuilding. The players don't want to lose, but the coaches and the damn owner know this is a process. Even they on paper knew this team wasn't contending.

Why would the players want to lose? What kind of mentality is that of a player to have? LOL.

I have to give Boston some minor props that should keep him off the fallers list into solidly neutral territory. That PD in the endzone, matched up 1-on-1 at the end of the game was a thing of beauty. After seeing the Saints/Packers game last night, it's so easy for a DB to get sloppy and hand them a fresh set of downs on the one yard line after a pass interference flag. He was collected, played the ball, broke up the pass, and didn't give the ref any excuses for a flag that would have handed them the game. There's a solid argument to me made that Boston is the reason we have a W today. Again, not a riser, but I can't call a guy a faller after a game-clinching play like that.

They ran routes two yards in front of the LOS? That almost seems like a play call.

based on the rest of the game, which included i think only one deep ball (the pass to moore that was underthrown but still caught) it would lead me to believe it's playcalling

based on brady's year with burrow at LSU, makes me think playcalling is based on personnel

I think it is probably just Rhule wanting to manage the game and keep turnovers to a minimum. They thought they could beat the Chargers with dink and dunk, and they were right.
