Haha. Oh God. He got showed up by one of the best CFB teams ever? Wow. That’s such a terrible black eye on his career. And yeah, don’t get mad Ole dude made plenty of sense when he quoted you. Sorry to tell you the real fans want us picking a top 5 game changer over winning meaningless games this year. Only here is where you see weirdo Panther fans wanting us to win meaningless games like odd balls.

Yeah real fans root for their team to lose, gotcha loser...

No you build a team by winning with real football players that don't have everything gave to them.

That's just bull poo from every perspective. Patriots built a winning culture because they had Brady and Bill B. You know, a great QB and a great HC. The Colts built a winning culture because Payton Manning won, and after that, won 11 games in Lucks first year after winning just two the year prior. Sorry man, that old archaic way of thinking doesn't work in football anymore. You build a culture around a winning/great QB. Pretty simple. This is the type of thinking Ron Rivera had, and boy did he have SO MUCH success here. Sigh.

I ain't giving up the Engineer's seat! I'm pro-Lance before Lawrence and despite Lawrence!

You can have your run of the rest of the train though.

I'm starting to get the impression that Lance could be a QB version of Steve Smith.

A tireless worker out to destroy everyone and show his doubters wrong.

We are actually in a perfect situation to take a young kid like that.  I think he will be 20.  Let him hold a clip board for a season--learn from a veteran, get some spot duty.

I like him because he has the "it" factor! And that's something that just can't be taught! I can't wait to see him with the highest level of talent!

Tanking isn't about purposely losing.

It's about sitting any hurt players and not shooting them up with meds for meaningless wins.

It's about playing as many young guys as possible and not signing any vets.

You can put a less talented team out there that's young. Run your system and try hard and just lose that way.

Couldn’t agree more. People equate tanking to telling players to miss tackles and equate losing with somehow depressing young players so badly that they’ll never be good. Both of those are false. It’s just as you said, be extra cautious with CMC since this year doesn’t matter. Let Grier start. Don’t sign FAs, just load up on comp picks. I will say I’m happy with Robby and he could be a long term piece but I see no point in Teddy and paying him $63M. There’s no point in paying Short $13M especially since all he’s done is sit twice and get pancaked. If the young guys ball out and win games then we have more to work with than we thought but Grier wasn’t winning anything.

Yeah because Luck done so much, lol.

Lol. The Luck hate is so real in here. Another scorned lover here, huh?

Listen, I’ll take Luck and you can have the entire rest of the 2012 draft. Just let me know which player the Colts should have selected to end up better than what they did with Luck. I’ll hang up and await your call.

Gonna say it:  We are going to win 4-5 games.  We have 8 games left on the schedule that I would call "winnable."  If we win half of them, we win 5 games.

Here is how:

4. Cardinals are only 3.5 point favorites in Carolina this week.  Winnable.  Odds of winning:  About 40%

5.  Panthers at Atlanta---winnable--Odds of winning about 40%

6. Bears at Panthers--winnable--odds of winning: about 50%

7.  Panthers at Saints-- Odds of winning 5% (2-5)

8.  Falcons at Panthers--winnable--Odds of winning about 45%

9. Panthers at Chiefs  Odds of winning:  1%

10.  Saints at Panthers:  Odds of winning:  5%

11. Lions at Panthers:  Winnable--Odds of winning: 55%

12  Panthers at VikingsWinnable---Odds of winning 50%

13:  Broncos at Panthers: Winnable-- Odds of winning 45%

14.  Panthers at Packers: Odds of winning 10%

15. Panthers at Washington: Winnable--Odds of winning 50%

16.  Panthers at Saints:  Odds of winning 4%
