Chargers fans think they are a playoff team.

I mean you could argue WE  could be a playoff team. Doesn't mean you'd be right or even that I'd agree but you could argue we're better than our record indicates:

Played the Raiders tight till the end and with a better play call may have won that game.

(Same Raiders team humiliated the early season NFC favorite Saints, and made Cam Newton look extremely pedestrian today)

Came back from double digits against the Bucs to make it a game, outscored them 17-10 in the second half

(If Teddy doesn't throw 3 picks we likely win, If the Defense doesn't give up two 3rd down penalties to move the chains and gets off the field we still may have won)

Beat the Chargers on a West Coast trip WITHOUT our best and most dynamic player despite having two undrafted FA play the majority of the game on Teddy's blindside.

(Same Team that just took Mahomes and the Chiefs to OT and needed a Harrison Butker 58 yard bomb to win it)

Again, I personally don't think we're a playoff team yet but there's been enough for me to be optimistic about the future. Certainly feel like we'd have a better shot than the Chargers though.

They could not get out of their own way today.  If not for a ton of penalties and turnovers, they would have beat us by 14.  It's like they did not take us seriously and that is probably on the coach

We forced those turnovers by playing good defense, if not for our red zone woes we win this game going away.

It's too early to say who is and isn't a playoff team, especially with the new playoff format and extra team from each conference making it.

If 7-81 got us a playoff berth before when their was only 6 slots, who know what can happen now that 7 teams are elgible.

8-8 is good enough for playoffs this year, Panthers have two matchups with an 0-3 Falcons team this month who very well could be having an interim coach...win those 2 and split Arizona and Chicago at home, were 4-4going into November...

We lose by 5 to a team who beat the Aints and to come back from down 21-0 against Brady and now suddenly we won one of our only 2 games lol.

We have a MUCH easier slate going forward, i could easily see 8-8 if we play like this.

Some calls went our way also, but without the turnovers, we would not have had that many red zones to have woes about

And if the Charger would have made more plays they would have won the game, and if the Panthers had made more plays they would have beat the Raiders and if and if and if.

Falcons may be 0-4 with a interim coach by the time we play if they can't hold a lead against Nick Foles and the Bears I don't like their chances in Green bay against Rodgers.

They are also averaging 32 ppg we just managed to hold a team under 20 for the first time in 14 games and still barely won on Joey Slyes leg I don't think we win a shootout vs the cants.

They don't have a defense and they don't have the pass rush of the Chargers who even gave Mahomes fits last week. Each game is unique in itself an of course the Panthers will have to be better in the red zone.
