You need to start wondering what you'd give up to get Lawrence

Sure it’s not the NBA but look at what one correct pick did to Baltimore, KC. And I know their team structure plays a huge part into their success. But I don’t know if there’s a build around Teddy B that makes us a super bowl contender. Most important thing is that difference maker at Qb. Money coming into our hands can help that OL wound. Although, I wouldn’t be mad with taking Sewell at all.

You are right, but Baltimore didn't give up much to get their guy.  IMO, when drafting a player, there is just to much uncertainty to give up a lot to get a specific player.  To move up for a QB, I might be willing to give up our own first and a third, but thats about it.  Giving two first round picks for someone that may or may not work out is a tremendous risk that rarely pays off.

just like the chiefs right?

The Chiefs made it to several playoffs with Alex Smith and drafted well enough that they could give up a handful of picks to trade up for a QB.

And even then that was 10th.  Not 1st.

Name one dynasty started with a QB taken first overall.

And then explain to me what makes Trevor different than any other 1st overall QB.

I'll wait fam. You can finish throwing your delusional temper tantrum first.

Indianapolis Colts. Not a dynasty but a Super Bowl, and consistent winning. Which is the main goal.

Just venting on this, I’m coming around to the idea of being in the 4-7 range and moving down for more capital next year if we can’t get Lawrence or Sewell. Id absolutely give up nothing extra for Lawrence. He’s only worth us organically getting that pick. The teams got so many holes and potential franchise qb just feels like a good starting point for me. If we could get a team super bullish on Chase or Parsons or even Fields, I’d love to get some more picks.

And you can do that...without the first overall pick? Fhe Bengals had 5 playoff berths with Andy fuging Dalton.

Idk why you guys act like Lawrence iz the best best thing and the 31 other teams are damned forever if they get Lawrence.

Lawrence is damn good and I would love him in Black in Blue but this team has so many other things to look forward to.

Also we're not outtanking the Jets.
