Bump this thread every time Bridgewater doesn't throw it into the endzone

You must have missed the season Tom had Randy Moss. He would literally throw the ball into coverage so Moss could go get it. It worked because Moss was the best athlete on the field - even at that age. But there were a lot of ill advised passes.

Oh and pretty sure Nkeal Harry had his best game as a pro too - in that same game, with the same number of receptions as Edelman. Byrd had one of his best games too with 2 fewer receptions than Edelman.

Now you're reaching Nkeal Harry had 12 whole catches a rookie, its not going to take much to have a career game based on his limited stats.

Just stating the facts, but I get your point. Can't deny that Cam actually was spreading the ball around though. And Edelman dropped the game winning TD. Went through both his hands. In the endzone. For the win.

Cam is looking like cam again this season, he'll make a few Ill advised passes a game but more than make up for it. Teddy two gloves on the other hand... Hes andy dalton if he wore gloves. Not the worst QB, but not gonna will you into a win either.

Teddy has been a better passer than Cam this season.

What quarter? I will look again

Your posting is disbelieving.

"I'll look that up"

"I'll look again"

"What quarter/When did that happen?"

You can't tell the difference between a 20/30yd and 50yd pass.

Do you even pay attention to any aspect of the game???

I've actually had to check my post a couple of times before posting to make sure there wasn't anything personal.

Woah..

Yeah, I don't really watch other teams. I watch the Panthers and the NFC South mainly. It is difficult to find specific plays on NFL Gamepass, that's why I was asking which quarter.

But, the numbers don't lie. Teddy leads Cam in almost every passing stat.

The NFL exists to generate revenue. This isn’t flawed thinking. It’s factual.

As far as the value of the organization hinging on Cam’s presence, I’d say that thinking is a little flawed. Look at how many household names carried this franchise for the last 7-8 years. Cam was one of several and the coverage was always polarizing. CMC is the face of the franchise now and if they are winning games it won’t matter much that a less talented and less polarizing Bridgewater is under Center.

It's unfortunate to note that the monetary aspect is your first concern.

The NFL is a football competition and makes the most of generating revenue using any legal avenue.

The value of the organization does not hinge on Newton, but it was enhanced with him being there. So you read it incorrectly. CMC may be the "face" of the franchise, but is a step down on that as he's not the presence Newton was.

Stuff like opposition fans deciding to come to a game. They're more likely to if Newton was playing than if CMC was the option. Idk of the scheduling in the future, but stuff like prime time games adds value to the franchise. It's more likely Newton will feature in those type of games more often than Carolina. It's questionable if Carolina will get those games at all (Since that type of stuff is your priority).

Off the numbers, sure. Teddy will always have a better completion percentage than Cam, but Cam will always win more games.

I'm routing for teddy, he's our QB. He's just another guy to me though, might as well have Chad Pennington or Sam Bradford tbh.

If the game is on the line in the 4th quarter, I'll take Cam over teddy 10/10x. Teddy isn't a bad QB I reiterate, but he ain't gonna throw you many TDs.
