Cam had three winning seasons with Carolina.  He was an undeniably talented QB/#1 pick.  It takes SO much more than that to win a Super bowl.

Dallas looks legit this season and much of that has to do with Dak at QB.  That not withstanding, in the NFL you don't need the #1 pick to find a winning QB to build a Super Bowl winning team around.  Look no further than recent SB history if for some reason you doubt me.

Sadly, Carolina Panthers fans should know this  better than most, selecting a QB with the #1 pick won't ensure a franchise's success.

Rhule's our coach and I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Clearly his plans don't align with your own.

I didn't think Rhule was a great hire and I think he has a steep learning curve and no idea what kind of talent level is needed to win at this level.

He has my support for 5 years.

He better win it in 5 years.

I've said it for a while now, picking first overall this year would be a really bad indication of the state of the team and its ability to be competitive in the future.  A team finishing worst, especially in a year like this, indicates far too many holes for any draft pick to solve. And plenty of teams take QBs outside of the first or second picks and they work out well.

I want the Panthers to build a quality, winning culture.  The coaches seem to be on board for that, and so do the players. A few more wins and the tankforTL stuff should go away.
