Ain't that the truth.

Seemingly level-headed posters are suddenly making sweeping generalizations and accusations after just 2 weeks of football in a season where we knew what we were getting into in terms of a retooling of the team with a new coaching staff.

It takes 4 to 6 weeks in a normal year to know what you are going to get for the year, this one could drag out much longer with Rona killing the preseason and the new staff getting their systems in place. This season is a marathon and the fans need to dig in for the long haul.

We aren't blitzing LB's much other than our "LB" that is actually a safety. We have not sent a CB on a blitz yet.

Here are the blitz stats for us...

Juston Burris - 6

Jeremey Chinn - 5

Tre Boston - 2

Shaq Thompson - 1

Tahir Whitehead - 1

That's because you need people to cover one on one match ups and we don't have that.

Most NFL fans only care about stats, they don’t watch individual plays. It’s all about who makes the highlight reel.

That's why I love this new era of advanced stats, metrics and player ratings. There is really no excuse to not have complete information on the trend of specific players. The information is literally at our fingertips.

Tahir Whitehead is an atrocious player.

Well an argument could be made that Whitehead would be more useful blitzing than trying to cover.

You don't solve bad coverage by adding more coverage problems. In other words a CB blitz would require Whitehead to cover a WR or him blitzing would require Tre Boston to cover his man. Neither is a good idea.
