Look through some of the threads, I have definitely seen complaints. I know I saw at least one mention of "bust."

He's actually been one of the few defensive bright spots. He, Weatherly, Douglas and Chinn to an extent.

You can't call him a bust for two reasons. #1 he's not in the right system for his talent. #2 he's only in year two.

He has been productive last year and he has been our only real pass rush threat this year. Right now we just have a rather anemic pass rush which he can't really be blamed for.

That is the biggest criticism you can probably lob at Snow, he hasn't  been able to generate any real pass rush through two games. That has to change eventually. We may not have the best personnel in the world but the persistent safety blitzes aren't really fooling anyone.

It's why I wasn't keen on moving back to the 4-3. You lose guys like Haynes who could have had an impact and we could have added guys. Now we are truly just rebuilding a unit we blew up a year ago.

I think Haynes is just legitimately not anything more than a practice squad type player in the NFL. After all, you are talking about a guy that has 286 snaps in a three year career that has produced 18 tackles and 1 sack.

I believe we can generate more pass rush if we aren't quite as predictable with our blitzes. JMO, though.

Remember, just because he isn't popping on the stat sheet, doesn't mean he is playing poorly.

Nope.

EXTREMELY talented young man;

Utterly mis-used for the 2nd year in a row by an idiot coach.

Hopefully he has Cam's cell number to call to be able to manage this kind of poo until he's free of the garbage organization who drafted him.

I think we need better CBs and LBs to blitz better. Tbh skill players win games and we are in low supply of them.

If you think the Panthers are a garbage organization why even bother posting on a Panthers fan forum???

We aren't blitzing LB's much other than our "LB" that is actually a safety. We have not sent a CB on a blitz yet.

Here are the blitz stats for us...

Juston Burris - 6

Jeremey Chinn - 5

Tre Boston - 2

Shaq Thompson - 1

Tahir Whitehead - 1

Just scroll through the first two pages. Hyperbole has set into the Huddle in a big way.

Ain't that the truth.

Seemingly level-headed posters are suddenly making sweeping generalizations and accusations after just 2 weeks of football in a season where we knew what we were getting into in terms of a retooling of the team with a new coaching staff.
