One thing we can keep an eye on before the draft is that Marty is not shy about having long drawn out meetings with his favorite QB prospect. If we draft 3rd or lower Marty will probably tip us off as to which QB he wants.

any team that has the #1 pick is taking Lawrence regardless. Or they are trading out of #1 to a team that needs a QB

Players and coaches play to win... and so they should.  As a fan, I will be watching every single game hoping for a win and expecting all personnel to do anything they can to win.  If they don't (i.e. win) so be it. The draft is something to worry about later......

If the Bengals or Dolphins have a top 5 pick that isn’t #1, I think it’s a no brainer for either of them to use it on Sewell to protect their young prospect. Same *might* be true of Denver depending on Lock’s season.

The #1 pick will be Trevor Lawrence. If the team drafting #1 doesn't want him, the pick will be traded.

I think people will discuss it because it’s a fun new media narrative to think about each year and it gets more and more steam. Burrow said he would play in cincy and they still ran with “will he not sign”.

Clemson fans already clamoring that the Panthers won’t draft him because we have never drafted a Clemson player/hate Clemson.
