Yeah, that'll be pretty messed up if they get away with this.

There's always risks with any medical procedure of course.  Unless it was gross negligence or intentional then I'm sure everyone knew that puncturing the lung was a possibility.  I doubt there's anything nefarious involved unless the doctor indeed needed Taylor out of the lineup for his fantasy league.

I don't think anything nefarious went on either, but its crazy that this happened.

This.

In fact for the procedure in question it’s not at all uncommon.

The hurdle to collect on medical “malpractice” is exceedingly high, doubtful that this situation amounts to anything meaningful.

Hopefully Tyrod comes back asap and balls out...

this isn’t malpractice, it was a mistake, so suing has pretty much a zero chance of happening

it’s literally impossible to sue a legit doctor

most that will happen is he will be fired and takes a knock on credentials

even though team doctors are suppose to be the best mistakes still happen

Doctors are just body mechanics with way more expensive education. Some of them are garbage and sketchy, most of them are just okay, and some of them are exceptional. Same as any auto mechanic.

Side note; how many more times in his career is Tyrod going to lose his starting job over getting injured? It's sort of becoming his thing.

I kinda feel sorry for the guy in a way.
