Easy to see he didn’t want to get hit. He had a good 5/10 more yards he could’ve gotten, but he made a “business” decision at the end of that play

Donte had a solid game and is one of our highest PFF graded players. I don't like him on the outside, but he would be a great nickel and could allow Chinn to move wherever on the field like a Abram/Adams kind of guy.

Umm, we are 27th in points not 19th. We are giving up 32.5 points per game, one of 7 over 60 so far. When you give up over 30 points, the other teams will slow down their offenses a bit to close out the game. The defense has been bad, reflected mainly by the points given up. Not giving up the most yards isn't going make anyone think we have an above average defense (#15).

He's soft...he makes 'business' decisions like that damn near every play and damn sure on run plays. Maybe he would have trade value to some fool out there and if we could get a 3rd for him we should.

The criticism of Donte Jackson is overblown. He looked good early last season, then suffered a groin injury and played through it. I still think he is starting caliber No.2 CB in the NFL. The loss of Bradberry will hurt this defense because Jackson is not a No.1 CB, he should not be matched up against Mike Evans, Mike Thomas, and Julio Jones. Frankly, if you want to know who is hurting the defense the most watch Shaq Thompson and Tahir Whitehead.
