That’s exactly what playing soft coverage is. And teams do it every week.

So combine that with me showing I apply it to everyone, what’s the problem?

I think the problem there is that by the definition that kungfoodude proposes, garbage time frequently turns on and off throughout the game.

I just don't think it makes sense to consider anything garbage time outside of past when a game is essentially already decided, and usually only in the last quarter.

You're the one that is talking about drives in which the opposing defense was still bringing additional rushers on some plays and getting sacks as garbage time, though.

It isn't just about coverage, it isn't just about score, it is situational, but as you've clearly admitted, it is much more about the score than the coverage.

And where did I admit that? Have you just gone to making poo up.

I keep forgetting you don’t recognize that garbage time even exists. What else happens in your made up world?

A few posts back. I brought up a situation in which the coverage you describe would very frequently be used, and you note it doesn't count as garbage time because of the score.

Of course garbage time exists.  However, it doesn't simply trigger at any point in a game in which the defense uses three down lineman, lol.  To me, garbage time is the point in a game where the end of the game is nearing and the score is such that it is extremely improbable that even with multiple scoring drives, they would win.  This usually means 3 or more scores in the 4th, or 2 scores with a minute or two, is where I consider it garbage time.  That's why I said I could see Teddy's last drive being considered garbage time.

edit: Here's another scenario. Is this garbage time?

An offense is down by 3 scores. 3 minutes left and got the ball.  The opposing defense decides to play its base defense.  This is still garbage time, no?

   Show me this post.

Because there is definitely one where you state any garbage time is considered objectionable to you.

Why is it “hating” to call him a back end starter. That’s exactly what he is. Maybe you and Igo can come up with a list of things people can and can’t say.

“Hating” is the huddles term for giving informed opinions that come true. But you don’t want the truth. You want someone to tell you everything is alright no matter how bad it gets.

I wasnt talking to you, so it may or may not have to do with your comment.  Obviously you feel that you are hating on him, or you wouldn't feel the need to defend what you said.

Going off of 2 games he's also 7th worst in interceptions.

Point being... it's 2 games.

Plus his fumble. Can’t remember if there is one or two, I think only one was turned over.

As quick as he gets rid of it he has also been sacked more than most wbs. A true testament once again to the FOs inability to build a line.

I asked you what was hating about his statement. You chose this deflection bs.

Lol. Most people aren't trashing him, we are largely poking fun at Igo's attempt to boost Teddy after a legitimately awful outing.

Can we say he's trolling? I mean, to post this useless stats is trolling. To say we need to tank for Trevor is not trolling, it's realistic. To say the team isn't good, is not trolling it's realistic. To hope for losses so you can get a top pick, well, the top pick. Is not trolling, that's being the best fan of a team that's rebuliding/flat out sucks you can be.
