What does Fox like so much about Delhomme?

Well, Jake was benched in week 1 and his back ups did nothing but get the hell beaten out of them.
:banghead: Week one the backups came into a game in late 3rd quarter and you expect all of a suddenly then magicaly become superman and throw the ball like tom brady. You just don't throw backups into a game that you are losing bad in and expect them to play well to start when they come in. Moore has proven in his rookie year going to 2-1 as starter in 2007 that he can play and mange this team. The only reason Fox fox want start him is because Fox is in lover Jake and well not start no other QB unless Jake gets hurt are our playoff hopes are gone are Jake retires. Ya'll are judging Matt moore how?? He is 2-1 as starter. But has not been given a chance since to prove he is a good start. Matt moore is going to be starter nextb year if a new Coach comes in.

You had me till right there. If we don't bring in someone better then Moore in the off-season the new Staff should be shown the door. Unless he does get to start this year and really impresses we need to get more talent at the QB postion. Even if he does we still should bring in a good Vet to be his backup (I don't trust Jake anymore even as the Backup).

What does Fox like so much about Delhomme? His body and how good Jake is in bed with fox and so on. Sometime while in bed Fox and Jake has a threesome with Jake Horse getting into the act:smilielol5: But most of all Fox loves how Jake can throw his balls around.:ihih::lol:

Um... that's how Jake won the job in the first place.

What if he IS the best option? A lot of you are so convinced he isn't, it honestly sounds like you believe you're smarter than Fox. Sorry, I've read your posts and you're not. Not even close. Painfully not even close. Probably not even in Madden.

The article explains a lot, and I thought it was pretty good. Clearly Fox has different criteria than most of the people here:

“The way I look at it, I think one of the most important qualities is a guy that's got some command, got some leadership,” Fox said. “The second thing would be smarts. And third might be how he throws and all those measurable things.
Argue that all you want. but if those are his criteria then it's no wonder he's staying with Jake. As long as Delhomme enjoys the respect of the team and knows the playbook better than the other guys, he'll be the man.

Here's where my big question comes from:

“It's pretty much the ratio we'd like to go by,” Fox said of the team’s 44 runs and 15 passes.
We rarely if ever go 3-1 on running plays, but if that's what he likes then what's the explanation for the pass happy offense we saw earlier this year?

The bottom line is that the Panthers O-line got their ass kicked in that Eagles game, and it wouldn't have mattered one bit who started or who finished at QB in that game, and for anybody to say that Matt Moore or Josh McCown outplayed Jake that day is just plain ignorant.

For all you know it all fans, feel free to report back here after the next Panthers practice you attend, and explain to the rest of us exactly what Matt Moore is doing on a day to day basis to prove that he should be starting, because most of us don't have the first damn clue how he's performing everyday.
