Should Curtis Samuel be moved to RB?

I think he'd be great as a change of pace back or even a 3rd down back.

He's only 10 pounds lighter than CMC (could probably easily add 5 pounds if he wanted to) and he ran a friggin 4.31 forty - at the combine. He has experience at running back playing at a high ranked POWER 5 conference university. The role he played at OSU would help this team more than what he's doing now.

We've asked this question before, and my answer has always been yes.

Samuel is one of those guys who can do good things with the ball in his hands. The problem is getting the ball into his hands.

That kind of profile works better as a runningback than a receiver.

Good news is that Joe Brady already seems to be looking at Samuel at RB, given he had him carry the ball 4 times against the Bucs. I bet we see 8-10 carries from Samuel against the Chargers.

At first I thought this was dumb and crazy.

But watching some film.  Watched his handoff this week multiple times then going back and looking at some of his college tape.

I think its time he moves there.  The WR project needs to be over.  And lets use him as a APY while CMC is out.  He looks more natural running it at RB.
