Should Curtis Samuel be moved to RB?

as a reminder, Samuel had more carries than receptions in college.

More rushing yards than receiving yards

More rushing TDs than receiving TDS.

and a lot of that receiving production was from when he was coming out of the backfield

He shouldn’t be our RB but it totally makes since to actually use him as the player he has always been.

Samuel was always a weird pick for Carolina....because we drafted CMC before him.    CMC can do it all better than Samuel.  But Samuel was probably more RB than WR in college.  You gotta be selective when you insert him but can definitely be added to packages in the backfield.

He averaged 6 yards a carry on 4 runs Sunday

He's got some wheels on him if they can get him going.  I say give it a shot.

I always envisioned him with CMC in a 2 back set with 2 WR and a TE. Possible 5 receivers, or either back can carry. He never had a chance to have his college skill set used by Ron and I dont think hes had the chance to really be used yet by Brady with no preseason and TC really.

Without CMC he might get a chance and it could open up some doors to the playbook creatively. Hes always been dynamic with the ball, getting it into his stone hands has been the issue.

Just get the ball in his hands around 5 times a game. Guy is explosive, but has limitations.

That's what Brady has been trying to do. He got 6 touches in each of the first two games. 5 catches and 1 carry against the Raiders and 2 catches with 4 carries against the Bucs. It's just not amounting to much. Those 12 touches have accounted for 82 total yards.

That's over 6 yards per touch.....actually pretty good.
