Should Curtis Samuel be moved to RB?

Samuel played some RB in college and took a snap at RB on Sunday. With CMC out for the next month at least, I think it’s worth seeing what Samuel can do at RB, especially on 3rd downs.

They paid a 2nd for Sanu half a season. That’s a steal for a 4th lol

Sanu has a much stronger resume. And what was thought to be a reasonable contract for another year. But he fell apart. CS is a pure rental. And at some point potential has to equal production.

And with your knowledge of Damiere Byrd, how much longer should we expect that to last.

Samuel was always a weird pick for Carolina....because we drafted CMC before him.    CMC can do it all better than Samuel.  But Samuel was probably more RB than WR in college.  You gotta be selective when you insert him but can definitely be added to packages in the backfield. 

He averaged 6 yards a carry on 4 runs Sunday

The cmc and samuel pick was an idea. The idea was to get a player who could do both. Samuel is sort of a poor man's cmc. They ment to throw more darts at the board incase one didn't work out. I dont think either was a bad idea but with cmc looking all world it make samuel look worse. Samuel is a football player probably a number 2-3 guy but not a bust at all.
