If that kind of thing attracts you as a recruit/player/coach, etc, I don't see anything wrong with it. It sounds pretty pushy and annoying but I'm also not there experiencing it to decide if it would even bother me as an atheist. 

I also don't see his ex-players picking and choosing their NFL teams based on any goofy religious principles. 

Good articles, though. I was actually completely unaware they had that sort of atmosphere down there. I have worked in that area quite a bit, so it doesn't really surprise me that much. They do have a lot of backwards people down there.

Tua had 4 first round draft picks playing receiver. Jeudy and Ruggs were 1st rounders this year, Smith and Waddle will be next year. Burrow had the best receiver in college last year who will be a top 5 pick next year in Chase. Burrow also had Jefferson who was tremendous and a first round pick this year. Marshall is also very good and underrated, probably a second rounder next year and Clyde-Helaire was the CMC of college football receiving from the backfield and a first rounder this year.. What I am saying is, yes Trevor had play makers, but Burrow and Tua actually had better play makers than Trevor. 

Let's get Trevor and turn him loose in this Joe Brady offense!
