Lol...I know. We have 2-3 wins max. Prob just 1.

Who else would realistically take a QB if they jumped us? Jets?

That may not matter.  If the Jets are okay with Darnold going forward, they could easily peddle the pick to somebody who is not in the sweepstakes but is in the QB market. I wouldn't guarantee the Lions would not move on from Stafford, either.  At 32, he may not be in their long-term plans.

The road to a specific QB is fraught with twists and turns, unless you are sitting with the #1 pick.

I am almost at the point when I say they should draft nothing but OL and LB next season.  Otherwise, given our OL, they might as well draft nothing but QBs, and we can look like a MLB pitching staff.  We might need that much depth.

True. The road to a franchise QB is 90% luck anyway. Except for Cam, all the top guys right now were lower picks.

Ive been saying it this entire time. The plan is to draft someone this year and have them play behind Teddy for one year. After that, Teddy’s contract is basically over.

The Jets have the Fins 2x so that goes in our favor.  Our schedule is set up perfect for the #1 pick.  And of course we will screw it up somehow

Bengals - Highly unlikely. Burrow would have to be an unmitigated disaster.

Washington - Possible. Rivera hates rookies but Haskins doesn't look like the answer.

Giants - Unlikely. Jones appears to be something they can build around and I don't think Gettleman will jettison a QB this quickly.

Dolphins - Possible. It depends on what we see from Tua this year.

Jaguars - Likely. Minshew will have to keep crushing it to avoid getting some competition.

Lions - Possible. Stafford has 3 years left on his deal but they can cut him next year and save a ton of cap space.

Jets - Very likely. Darnold doesn't appear to the be answer. The question is if ownership blames Gase or Darnold for the struggles more.

Broncos - Almost certainly. Elway loves a new QB. He is the modern Jon Gruden with his collection of mis-fit QB's.

Texans - Won't happen. They just invested in Watson as their future.

Eagles - Unlikely. They have invested in Wentz as the future of their franchise. It would take another serious injury for that to happen.

Vikings - Very likely. Cousins has two years remaining on his deal but they can jettison him in 2022 and save $35 mil. Perfect time to transition a rookie.

Falcons - Unlikely. The Falcons can technically get out from under Matt Ryan's contract in 2022 but he hasn't shown signs of declining play yet, although he is quickly approaching his twilight years.

I'd say the crop of turd teams benefits us at the moment.

We play them 2x (obviously) and they have a lights out passing attack.  How do you guys figure we are going to beat them?

I don't and I if it were possible, then I would hope that the Panthers would do whatever it takes to not allow them to get ahead of us.
