I believe it. There was nothing noticeable at all on the TD that looked like it would've caused a high ankle sprain. Probably happened earlier and the adrenaline started to wear off and then he may have tweaked it slightly on the last play and got checked out and taken out of the game.

All-22 view showed McCaffrey trying to stretch out ankle between plays. Then he won the 7-yard sprint to the end zone. That could not have felt good.

Take all the time you need, shouldn't be a  hurry to come back this season.

Heart breaking. He's young and he'll be back. And he'll still be fighting to get 1k yards on the season. I bet he'll make it, too. 

And after he went out, it was amazing how the team rose up. Might be good for everyone over the next four weeks or so. Good coaching, good teamwork, good future even if today is a bit rocky.

You can’t run players into the ground like this franchise does and expect them to hold up.....Cam, Luke, CMC.  No reason one guy should be 60% of your offense.
