Does anyone believe we are tanking purposely?

Tepper wouldn’t allow tanking under any circumstances.   So there.  Also tanking mentality is to be like Browns, they get a high draft pick year after year and they still suck.  It’s going to corrupt the organisation sooner or later.

I think Tepper badly wants a new face at QB for the franchise. It just so happens that the best QB prospect since Luck (talking purely draft stock status here, not what guys actually did in the NFL) plays two hours away from Charlotte for a team wildly popular in the state that Tepper has been heavily catering to since he bought the team.

I don't think it's happening, but it's certainly not the most outlandish claim I've ever heard.

You don't give a journeyman QB a $60M contract to tank. You give a journeyman QB a $60M contract because you think you're a good enough coach to "coach 'em up" and win with lesser talent.

Meanwhile, the rest of the league this season gonna be like this to Rhule and company...

I think we signed Teddy just to keep us in games and prevent us from getting blown out every week. At least keep the morale decent so we can see what we have in the other guys. No one wants to play when we are losing 3-62 every week.

We are still going to lose a lot, it will just be more stylish.

He gone learn tomorrow about clock management. Someone tweet him that the clock doesn't stop for first downs.

We've definitely shown some bad clock management down the stretch in both games, that's for sure.

Wait. I was told that would never be an issue again. The problems were “supposedly” gone? These new coaches and QB were a step above in that area. What happened?

It was interesting watching the Patriots have no problems getting plays off last night with no huddles broken with under 10 seconds on the play clock and no desperation timeouts to avoid delay if game penalties. I was told that our issue with that was all because of Cam, that without Olsen to correct the play calls in the Huddle we'd never manage getting a play call communicated. Crazy.

Makes you wonder what else certain “reporters” are/were wrong about? Especially certain ones that don’t want anything bad said about the team.
