In hindsight it was the wrong call. I don't think it was a bad call though.

I love aggressive play calling. Forget that death by a thousand cuts Rivera philosophy. Just shoot me or I'll shoot you. Stop playing games.

We should've just gone for it. Need to be able to trust the offense to pick up a few yards there.

The fake punt call from inside the 40 is without a doubt the most predictable call I’ve ever seen.

there was no excuse for that.

I’m going to give him a pass this year and most of next due to inheriting this mess and the limitations put on him by Covid.

And the fact rhule always sucks year one.

Both guys love nepotism, whether it be players or coaches.

I understand there is a lack of talent but so far the defense under Snow looks like dog poo. Players can’t even tackle. Whitehead should never be asked to cover anything, and our most promising looking rookie is being asked to play out of position. He clearly needs to be at safety full time.

Loved the aggressive nature of the call but no one in that stadium thought they were punting that football.

I chalk it up as a learning experience but more of those types of decisions will be cause for concern.

The fact that already Rhule shows the capacity to adjust already puts him above Rivera for me.

Rivera literally never adjusted to the game that was actually being played but as a DC he is fine, after his small stint in Washington he'll be DC again.

Had it been Rivera they would have been equally as predictable as a real punt.

i'm already taking rhule over rivera 10/10 times.   this was halftime in carolina during the rivera era the entire time in games we were losing:

'coach this gameplan isn't working.  its like trying to push a square peg into a round hole.

rivera:  push harder

Rivera "a punt is a good" play. When he let Washington call a 2 man rush on 3rd and medium with play elimination on the line facepalm.
