That’s the risk you take with Cam. I could see them offering a 3 year deal front loaded.

The risk is his arm wearing down mid season again or the hits just stacking  up, He and RW are the same age but I'd bet my left nut RW is still playing at 36 Cam is the Dan Morgan of QBs I feel for him he's beat his body to hell.

Also the amount of rushes shouldn’t matter, look at the rushing attempts by cam, he’s barely being touched and when he does he’s usually the one bulldozing the opposing player.

he was one play from being the talk of the week, and sports outlets would have began questioning tepper and company

Not many QB's can thrive behind the Olines we have had the last 10 years.  Mostly got QB's injured.

NE kept Cam safe and he thrived.  Same w Brady.  Not so much the weapons as the protection in my opinion.  You can have 5 all pro WR's, but if you are lying on your back each play, it won't matter

He had over 400 yards total offense and three touchdowns. They don’t have much around him except a decent OL.

Cam looked like he did with us....made big time plays, then big int late, & missed the game winner with an overthrow, & finally got stuffed at goal line

2 plays before the goal line stuff...the ball sailed right between Edelman’s hands. That was the game winning TD.  Cam had it.

How about we talk about how bad the Seahawks are on the back end? 450 to Matty water, and 397 to Cam Newton. I mean, yeesh.

Yeah, they aren’t as stacked on defense as some say.  Pats will have a tough time beating elite teams.

Tepper's an arrogant ass. That's the reason Cam's gone because he thinks he can do better. If he really wanted to win now he would have kept Cam. Bridgewater isnt poo compared to Cam. The fact don't care about your feelings

The silver lining here is that the best thing for Cam is to be on the Patriots because this team has too many flaws to go anywhere. He deserves a better opportunity if he's going to resurrect his career. Do you think Tepper considered that? Maybe but considering Cam said that he only got a text message I think probably not.

I think its bigger than that. He wants to win a Super Bowl with HIS team. Thats why hardly anyone left from the JR days are gone except for draft picks from the last JR draft and KK

The biggest issue with that is that he kept around the main catalyst from the JR mediocrity which is Hurney

cam didn't only get a text message.  his agent and the panthers had discussed everything.  cam knew exactly what was going on. he got upset because the panthers announced it before he could.  that's what happened.   that's without going into all the bs negotiating cam tried to do thru social media.   cam got basically a vet min contract because no one wanted him.   he's also balling out so good for him.   if he makes it thru this year he'll be handsomely rewarded by someone.
