Go look at their forums. They are HYPED AF with Cam right now (hypocritical asses after all that sh*t they were saying over the years). They are now experiencing what we've been trying to tell the whole league all along.....Cam is a fuggin baller and different breed. They will now take our spot at defending Cam like we've been this whole time because they get to finally see just how good Cam is as a player and person.

F150s reving in stunted iq pride rn

Oh you guys just wait for the forum cleanings to start up after this. It’s already been threatened.

Someone will feel pressed to remove some of these so called “Obnoxious out of control Pats fans” lol

I'm surprised a we get to talk after the poo display by teddy.

The thing I miss is that with Cam, I always felt we had a chance. Even when no one thought we were going to have a good season, I knew that an elite talent at QB gave us a chance. Even when he was struggling with injuries, I knew that if he could stay healthy we had a chance.

Then you cut Cam and tell me Teddy Bridgewater is our guy? Fug. That's the opposite. Now I know that no matter how good our team is, we don't have a chance to win it all. You're not beating the Mahomes, Jacksons, Rodgers, Wilsons, etc. of the world with Teddy Bridgewater. Wind out the sails. Instantly. We need that wind back. We desperately need one of the top QB prospects in this coming draft.

For as DESPICABLE the Patriots are Cam fuging Newton made them likeable after tonight. Their Fanbase is about to explode.

Panthers are now back to irrelevance. Just how we’ve always liked it.

smh.

The Patriots fanbase didn't need Cam to explode dude come on winning six SB titles in the 2000s already did that.

Also, they gave up that wind in the sales, for a fuging Kyle 2.0

We are absolutely competitive with a cam an cmc combo, but we'd rather forgo that for a 2 year rebuild with cmc

We’ll get it back, but we need one of the 3 QB prospects coming out. I want that. I want my home State team to be relevant again.

I remember growing up in Winston, and the majority of the city being fans of teams not the panthers. I don’t want that again

And the thing is, as much as I loved Delhomme for his gambling man/gunslinger, gritty, all-heart-and-balls style (until the elbow injury), I remember thinking all of those years losing to better teams that the one thing we were really missing was a true, face of the franchise QB.  We spent years after Jake jumped the shark looking for that and just kept struggling...  then we finally get that one big missing piece that all those perennial contenders had in drafting Cam...  but, we did so under an incompetent staff that git him pummeled to poo for nothing, under an owner who knew Cam's worth but who would find himself ousted in an unprecedented fashion for being a creep, all so big wig brass balls could come in here and poo on any and everything we found sacred.  All those years of toiling in mediocrity, waiting for a savior at QB, and we finally get a once-in-a-lifetime, franchise QB who wins MVP and was building a HOF resume, just so he could get tossed on the street like he was Brian St. Pierre.  And we're back to toiling in mediocrity.  But honestly, Cam deserved to get out from under this shitshow.  It just hurts that our organization regardless of leadership just can't fuging get themselves right and make the right decision even when it is blatantly fuging obvious.  We would literally do handstands on hot coals with poo in our pants to make the wrong move over making the right/easy one.

F Tepper.

P.S. - Say what you want about statistics, but speaking of Jake, I would watch him pre-elbow injury 1,000 times out of 1,000 over Teddy.

Look at this roster with a straight face and tell me this team could beat any of them with Cam right now? The Panthers interior offensive line couldn't get push on a pee wee team and our defense is reminiscent of a wet paper bag.

    • Strange, every news article and tweet I just searched all mentioned waivers. It is definitely his sixth year of at least 6 games. All I was trying to think of earlier was at the vet min could he beat out Bryce in camp next year lol. He's kinda got the old Darnold issue where he can obviously launch deep balls and qb run at a level Bryce will never achieve, but it sounds like he would be content being like a Josh Allen backup who doesn't throw the whole game plan out the window if he has to come in for a series or two. If we had him and for some reason still wanted to start Bryce he would kinda do what Justin Fields was doing the other night with Dangeruss, coming in for designed runs and maybe some play action/triple option rpo things to go deep. That would be so obvious and sad though. At least Russ can still sling it 40 yards in the air with a flick of the wrist
    • Too late to edit above but the quote is from this Diane Russini article in the Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5941684/2024/11/23/russinis-what-im-hearing-the-day-the-jets-fell-apart-and-the-broncos-rallied-belichick-best-fits/ Okay.. there you have sorry I left that out the first post.  Also waivers keep the contract intact. That is the major difference in released and waived. It's all in that link from the other post.
    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
