It’s only a matter of time before they’re talking about Teddy’s “accuracy”.

I know what’s going to happen. Teddy is being set up

Really sad that this will exactly play out for him. Especially if he struggles next week. Lord forbid he starts dancing a jig after a score or 1st down. People’s heads will begin to explode like that one guy in the chappelle show skit.

I love Cam and wish he was still here with every fiber of my being. But I still got no love for Teddy B. I obviously hope he does well because he is my teams QB. Maybe if he was on a $5MM/year prove it deal I’d feel differently. But letting Cam go to pickup Teddy for $20MM makes me hate TB even if that’s not TB’s fault. I know it’s not logical and I don’t care. I’m clamoring for whatever QB we can draft that is a real future franchise QB. Bridgewater feels like an off-year quarterback to me like Rodney Peete or Testeverde. A guy you have until the real future shows up.

I haven't transferred my hate to Teddy. He honestly seems like a good dude. I know my posting about Teddy's career makes me seem like I hate the dude, but I don't. He is what he is - a marginal starter/good backup type of QB. But you're right, in no way shape or form should a rebuilding team be sinking huge cap space into a stopgap placeholder QB. You had Cam under contract. Let it ride for a year. You can sign Teddy Bridgewater level QBs in any given off-season.

He's Alex Smith. And there's nothing wrong with that!

If we had a good team, I would be fine with Bridgewater as QB bc I know he wouldn't fug anything up.

Also, you Cam haters know for a fact that y'all don't like Teddy Bridgewater.

You lot are clamoring for Trevor Lawrence.

LMAO

This has been my biggest thing. They know they don’t like Teddy and want Trevor. They should just be real. I hate the fake sh*t. I love the panthers and will root for them, but I’m going to call out the fake I see. Again, around week 10/11, they’ll be talking about Teddy’s accuracy too

We have quite a few trash players being paid big thanks to Hurney. It's going to be hard building a complete team because of it.

It's funny hearing people from the Anti-Cam camp say they wouldn't give Cam 20mil but were ready to give Kyle Allen that amount after a couple games. Weird.

They are the same ones telling us to embrace the suck, to get TL in, and then also chastise you for rooting for your former mvp qb. poo is beyond hilarity

People complain about how the Pats somehow have a very good team year in and year out. Meanwhile, one NFL team threw Cam out like trash and 31 other teams had a chance to sign him for practically nothing. Belichick looked at his trash QB room and said, "Hmmm... don't mind if I do."

Dude probably laughed his ass off. He robbed the NFL and didn't even need a gun.

Half his team opted out this year before realizing they had a play at Cam Newton. Must suck to be a Pats fan rn

Teddy gets undeserved hate but people need to realize that he's a tank commander and will never be nothing more than that *cough cough*Jeremy Igo

    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.

    • Ah, the ol Cam Newton hating.  I will give you credit, the week of pretending to be a Daniel Jones super fan is a very clever way to disguise your hatred of Cam.
