In all honesty, does anyone think Cam would look this good if he had stayed?

Yes. A large portion of this fanbase had been asking to see what Cam would look like without dumb ass Ron and Shula. Now we get to see it but on another team and it makes our new owner and coach look like even bigger dumbasses than they already are.

Teddy fuging Bridgewater for 60 million fuging LOL

I don’t know about you guys but I’m just excited to get back to seeing Teddy lob up 15 yard wobblers in actual garbage time scenarios. It’s much more entertaining and only cost us 20 million a year! What a deal! He also fits into this organizations fan base comfort level. Very non threatening.

Nobody in here is rooting for the Pats. We’re rooting for Cam, like it has been said a million times

I (we) want to see Cam be successful and while it looks like his current coaching staff has a better idea of how to maximize his talents,  Id love to see them not put it all on him like they did with that final play.  That poo was so Rivera.

better tbh. he’s got a great coach in new england but his supporting cast is dogshit. i’d love to see him in this offense. that’s why i wanted him to stay. plus with covid he wouldn’t have had to deal with idiot fans shouting out how they want grier or w/e during the game.

I'm not gonna lie, Cam played well against the Dolphins, but they were the Dolphins. This was the real test.

After the injuries, Cam will likely never reach the peak he was at in 2015, but Cam has shown that he still has a place in this league. I wish it was with the Panthers, but it is what it is.

Happy for Cam.

If we don't end up getting our next franchise QB after all this then my fandom may be broken.

Teddy is a nice guy and story, and a decent QB.

But he will never be able to bring it the way Cam did tonight.

I'm a Panthers homer and always be, but watching Cam ball out for another team was the epitome of bittersweet

Lol you’re upset.

I won’t bring up Teddy, because he is my teams QB. I also won’t bring up Teddy, because it’s only a matter of time before you’re calling out Teddy the same way you did Cam. Folks colors always show eventually

We didn't win a SB with Cam and we won't with TB these days you need a top end qb. IMO that will be TL or TL (Trey Lance) TB is TB no one has expectations for TB.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
    • People here get mad when I tell them I prefer Miracle Whip over Dukes
