Why would I be mad? I'm just pointing out the reason he was available, and there's a very good chance that Cam's arm won't last through the season. It's 2018 all over again. Pats fans are convinced they're going to compete for a SB with Cam and think it's the greatest signing ever. Yes the deal was dirt cheap but there was a reason and they're going to be disappointed later this year.

The reason very well might be that Belichick is just smarter than everyone else. He took a gamble on an elite talent that was head and shoulders better than what he had with a very cap friendly deal. Yes, the injury concerns are legit, but it's all potential reward no risk for the Pats.
