Hum, no preseason, 50% player turnover, new system, second game, and we show promise against the greatest QB to play the game. We are not that far off, and I think this coach will be special, just my view.

Only time will tell and with no pressure this season. What ever happens will be a fun ride. Next season though. That’s when things have to start getting serious.

Gave up almost 200 yards passing in the 1st, only around 20 in the 2nd. These games are great for getting guys experience, not mad they lost.

Gotta figure out how to get pressure

With two starters out as well. Even though the PS squad guy didn’t do bald bad today at all. Better than any other starter on the field potentially.

On Fournette's TD run did Brown get doubled?  If so, why the hell didn't Shaq or Whitehead touch Fournette?  I'd like to see the play again in slow motion to see who really screwed the pooch....not to mention the lack of effort on Boston's part.

On the bright side, it seems Burns brought it in the second half and may have found his footing.

It looked to me that Shaq ran himself out of the play at the snap. Fournette hit the spot Shaq vacated. Boston too far away to catch Fournette

my issues are with Hurney. For these reasons
1.  Whitehead’s stats clearly showed he was a major liability in pass coverage, major reason he was out of a job...still Hurney and Rhule went for him   Sometimes knowledge of a coach does not mean, or should not mean,  a starting job

2. Paradis was horrible last year and he was kept this year  bad bad mistake  Never a good look when all the other lineman are engaged and he is standing alone and upright

3  Shaq Thompson and his contract   Another albatross of a contract given to a below average player

Positives
1 team settled down after an abysmal start

2. Adjustments were made at halftime
3. Liked that Rhule did not settle for that incomplete on Anderson

I will not ding time management, as in truth, this is the second time these players have played in a real game with this staff

undecided
1. It is true there aren’t moral victories, but these first two games were not the blow outs I’ve become accustomed to with Rivera

2  Bridgewater  not my fav but he is here    It is what it is until it isn’t

I think we played good. Turnovers definitely hurt us but if we didnt have none we win the game. Seeing we had 4 definitely sucks but the fact we stuck with it and had a chance at the end I think is big. We have a very young team and I see this team being great next year. We definitely need experience and a better LB AND Oline core. But I think Bridgewater isnt doing to bad. Im rather pleased with his accuracy. We will be better as games progress we can draft Fields of Lawrence and ride Teddy beginning of next year and let the transition happen unless he comes out ballin next year but I see him only serving 2 years out of the contract and a trade for better DB help or Oline help. But things are looking up.

Oh he was absolutely doubled. No linebacker even made contact despite that.
