staff doesn’t trust teddy to throw downfield. quite a few throws short of the sticks on third down through these first almost 6 quarters of the season

If he hits him in stride C-Mac had enough room to get there.  There was about 3-5 yards of separation on that route.  Teddy threw it high, giving the defender enough time to break on it.

Maybe you're right and he doesn't get the 1st, but Teddy didn't allow it to even have a chance.

Either way it's pointless to talk about, everyone sucks other than a select group
