Cowgals scored a td, then recovered a onside kick that the Falcon players let roll almost to the sideline.  I think they were thinking the ball wouldn't go ten yards.  It did.

Receiving team doesn’t have to wait for the ball to travel 10 yards, that rule only applies to the kicking the team. ATL special teams looked stupid on that play.

Yeah I can't think of any reason the Falcons players didn't hop on it. Sure it could have slipped out, but they'd have been the only ones ON the ball before the 10 yds needed. Makes zero sense.

While watching the game the game one of the announcers were talking and saying it doesn't need to go ten yards anymore during an onside kick. They were talking back and forth wondering why Atlanta didn't even attempt to get the ball to end the game. That rule must have changed.
