Numbering scheme is 1 thru 8 going left to right, top to bottom.

Ex:
1 2
3 4
5 6
7 8

Good luck, have fun!

Need a hint? Choose from the below names:

Quote

Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Derek Carr, Teddy Bridgewater, Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Joe Burrow, Sam Darnold, Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield, Ben Roethlisberger, Kyler Murray, Mitchell Trubisky, Kirk Cousins

why so many?

Solid maximum sample sizes are typically 10% and I wanted to go over that. 8 out of 32 QBs gives us a look at 25% of the styles of passing offenses and the success of their signal callers.

Plus I believed that people would bitch if I just did 4 (I mean, they'll bitch regardless, but at least it won't be about the integrity of the data).

I thought the exact same shortly after posting it and edited the OP to include a name bank to help limit the possible choices from 32 to 16. :3

maybe just give the 8 qbs? ahha

In my experience, people would then lean on their implicit bias rather than using their critical thinking skills.

EDIT: Gonna wait until page 2 if it gets there to post the answers in case anyone wants to skim the first page for discussion(s). Will add a link in OP.

#7 is easy because of the 2 picks = Brady.

I think #2 might be Bridgewater. (longish TD ball to right, no picks)

#1 is probably Newton.  (15-for-19, no picks, low yardage total)

No idea on the others.

Not bad, 2 for 3! :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

    • Your thoughts? I don't think the trade up or even down value system stays exactly in place this year. Look at all the bad trades that hurt teams that give away too much (49ers for Lance, even us w/the Bears set us back). What trade up except Mahomes/KC was it really a great trade for the team giving up a lot? Same with trading down. Teams will know you don't want to pick and they won't be giving the store to move up because there is not a generational talent to do that for. Now, I believe these possibilities.  The Giants probably won't take QB-Sanders at 3, it's too much pressure if it doesn't work. They don't really need another edge rusher with Carter. I can see them possibly saving face, trade down to even the Panthers at 8 but not asking for a kings ransom. A 1st round swap, a 3rd and 4th and maybe next years 2nd and 4th could be enough without giving up too much. The Giants save in pay and in public opinion and then they can take Sanders or even another QB. For the Panthers to drop down, it has to mean their top 3 picks are not there. Do they take TE-Warren if he drops in their lap at 8 (I do like that)? I believe they would love to drop back but again I don't think teams will pay a lot to move up unless they want a QB before the Saints (our only hope for a good value).  I'm not picking a player, just thinking of the draft in general and value. Reaching doesn't work and more and more teams are realizing that.
    • With the new DL, we should be better at edge by simple addition.   What player would have the biggest impact on the Panthers?  I still see the plan to trade back and take Emmanwori if we can find a trade partner.  Why, you ask?  S is a huge need and they have really only looked at 1 visits/meetings.  We will try to trade up for Princely in the second.  A WR in the third  (Bech or Noel).
