I think 2020 will be a more consistent offensive team 

I think 2020 will exhibit better offensive coaching and game management 

2019 had Luke.  Which meant occasionally our ceiling could be higher than it should of been when we had a decent day.   Hence beating a couple playoff teams.  Don’t see the D every putting together one of those caliber days but time will tell.  Back 7 just doesn’t seem to have the talent.

We only have week 1 to go by. And barely losing to the defending NFC champs is a lot more impressive than barely losing to the fuging raiders.

True.  But that has a horrific performance.  500+ yards to a rookie Uncle Rico Jaguars team.

Yes I didn't say 2019 defense was good just that they could get to the Qb at times and force mistakes. But when that didn't happen it was about what we saw Sunday.

An offense that appears to play to strengths while minimizing weaknesses. Already a drastic improvement over Ron and Norv.

Still early. I look for us to struggle mightily the next couple weeks. Be realistic about your expectations, because we probably are going to get annihilated on Sunday. Doesn’t mean that’s what I want, but when you look at what we are matching up against defensively (and how good an interior DL they have to stop the run) the prospects are not promising.

Hiring Norv was the nail in coffin for Ron, if he would have gotten an innovative coordinator that could open up the offense that would have been key. Norv was just an upgraded version of Mike Shula.

I can't say that or if it ever will. This team lacks serious talent. Hopefully Rhule will help with this because Hurney isn't the answer.

Well, Carr is actually pretty good at getting the ball out quick.   And he is paired with a pretty good OL.  

So I wouldn’t say this team can’t get to the QB just because of one game.   This week won’t be the best bar either most likely.
