Again, a botched defensive play was his “best” deep attempt all game.

which play was this? His best deep ball was the one he fit in between the safety and CB in cover 2. The one where RA put a double move on the CB.

As far as your suggestion for the 10+ yards over their head.... it was put the ball where maybe the receiver could get because he was doubled covered. Not sure this is a deep ball issue....

Teddy’s play yesterday made the oline look good. He has so much better pocket presence than anything we’ve seen in the last ten years.

Cam does a ton of things well, moving in the pocket and keeping his eyes down field is not one of those things.

If you put a strong defense around Teddy he is going to win 10 games a year. We’re years away from a strong defense unfortunately.

Overall, I give him a 6/10.

Made some really good reads and quick decisions.  Was impressed with his mobility , hadn't seen that much from him.

He also had some pretty inexcusable misses on wide open receivers.  I'll mark that as rust/timing unless it continues.

Yep,and I think that will be our record.

Robby burned his CB on the play with said double move and the safety made a HORRIBLE play on the ball. A busted coverage.

Not sure where you’re going with the rest. It’s well documented in his tenure with NO his deep ball accuracy and placement is his weakest area, he’s passable just about everywhere else.

I’ve been intentionally overly critical but judging what I saw yesterday objectively, I did like the quickness of the passes for the most part and his pocket awareness and moving around in the pocket (outside of one play specifically I remember where he just stood there while two defenders slowly pushed their linemen right into his face and he didn’t budge and got sacked).

What I didn’t like was his horrible ball placement and four or five passes sailed over the heads of receivers. His main selling point was supposed to be his accuracy but there were only a handful of passes that were on target and the receiver didn’t have to reach behind, slow down, or fully extend to try to catch.  Maybe it’s just a matter of rust and getting in synch with his receivers. We’ll see. I’d agree with the above 6/10 numerical rating.

Yea that Anderson TD was underthrown. He was running free, if not for the busted coverage the DB would have broken that up easily. The safety still almost made a play on it.

One that particularly struck out to me was an endzone attempt where the ball sailed like 10+ yards over the receiver’s head. Again, a botched defensive play was his “best” deep attempt all game.

The ball landed at most 5 yards out of bounds and was roughly a foot high when coming over DJ‘s head BUT Joyner was stuck on Moore and was more of a throw away or a ball that only DJ would haul in than anything else. There was no where to put that ball.

Then DJ went on to pick up a penalty that put the offense in a 2nd and 25 situation that Teddy then completed two straight passes to CMC to pick up the 1st.

But keep throwing sh!t at the wall, surely something will stick soon enough. Lucky for you Tampa’s defense is legit so I’m sure you’ll have something to work with next week

When it came down to it, it seems like Brady didn't trust Teddy to win the game. When we got the ball back with 4:08 remaining, we ran five plays. All five were handoffs ultimately ending up in a turnover on downs.

I think it was more that they needed to ensure that if we scored, there was little time left on the clock.  They were intentionally trying to run time off the clock.  The mistrust seemed to be in the defense to even slow them down.  But the third down play should have been a short to medium pass.  We actually did pretty well on those most of the day.

That being said, if there was lack of trust in the passing game, it may not have been in Teddy, but in receivers that dropped a few passes and the Oline pass blocking that did ok, but looked suspect as the game went along.

Rhule said during his presser today that they didn’t want to leave time left on the clock for Vegas

Exactly what I was thinking, they were trying to eat up clock. Why wouldn't the coaches have faith in a Qb that just led you to a 12 point comeback in the 4th quarter. But according to the mouth breathers Teddy was Jimmy Clausen out there.

The Raiders defense had about the same number of drops that our guys had.

What about his other 12 missed passes.
