i can go for the overall 6/10.  there were some 9/10 moments and some 2/10 moments.  he's close to a 7 and could easily see him getting to 8.  i can also see him being a 6/10 for the year.  i def got po'd a couple times with him yesterday.  kinda surprised myself - like damn i still really care even though i know its gonna be a rough year focusing on wins and losses

Yes---a lot of what he did wrong was about timing or communication.  I am fine with Teddy.  He brought us back from 12 down.  I give him a 7/10

I was pretty even keeled for most of the game but I did get pretty heated on that 4th down play call.

Teddy B is a decent enough QB, but Brady is going to be handicapped by the fact that Bridgewater doesn't have the arm talent to accurately push the ball downfield.  I don't think he wanted to risk Bridgewater doing something he wasn't able to do throughout the day and that was make a big play down field, the Anderson catch notwithstanding (which didn't require a high level of difficulty to complete).

I thought Bridgewater did a good job, but it felt like a lot of his success came from a well-schemed offense.  Players still need to execute, but Bridgewater didn't make any tight window throws that made me think any differently of the opinion I had of him going into the season... that is, he's a good game manager, albeit a solid one to have.  That is going to be a problem if our defense continues to give up 30+ PPG... which I expect it will.

What did impress me from him however is his pocket presence.  I thought the offensive line played better than some gave it credit for, but Bridgewater certainly helped make them look even better by stepping up into the pocket and having good awareness for where the pressure is coming from.  He made quick decisions and usually found the open receiver (likely why he didn't even need to make any tight window throws).  Overall he had a good performance and like you said, it was good enough to win the game.  Bridgewater is good enough to win games with (in the regular season, anyway), but this defense isn't anywhere close to being good enough on a team with a game manager QB

I think their reliance on the run in the final "real" drive was more of an editorial on the defense than it was of TB.  Up until that drive died on the vine, it was a question of who had the ball last with enough seconds on the clock to put points on the board.  Scoring the go-ahead TD with 2:10 left was probably not going to result in a win.  Scoring with :21 left would have been a different story.....we hope.

Solid performance. We played one of the youngest defenses in the league and the deep ball still looks.. bad

but I’d be lying through my teeth if I said I’d rather watch Kyle fuging Allen back there.

yeah he's clearly better than allen. lot of folks around here were real excited about kyle though lol don't you forget it

Several. It’s clearly something he’s not good at. Which is fair, the offense is catered to his limitations and it clearly worked yesterday.

I only recall 3 deep balls (balls that traveled more than 25+ yards) and 1 was a PI, the other was a TD , and the last was a play the Raiders knew was coming.  What am I missing?

All those looked fine except for the PI. It was underthrown, but im not sure if that was a back shoulder throw or not.

One that particularly struck out to me was an endzone attempt where the ball sailed like 10+ yards over the receiver’s head. Again, a botched defensive play was his “best” deep attempt all game.

Moore did him no favors with his drops, but it’s clearly something defenses will begin to key in on. Akin to Kyle Allen, once the intermediate passes gets sniffed out I’ll be curious how the offense responds. Particularly Teddy.

The NFL has plenty of tape of Teddy's abilities already. Not really the same situation as Kyle Allen coming in.

Not only that but we will get to see how well Joe Brady game plans and how well he changes his game plan to throw the other team off.
