Overall, I give him a 6/10.

Made some really good reads and quick decisions.  Was impressed with his mobility , hadn't seen that much from him.

He also had some pretty inexcusable misses on wide open receivers.  I'll mark that as rust/timing unless it continues.

Agree on the 6/10. I didn't think it was rust as much as that the pocket started being a lot less clean around the latter half of the second quarter. It looked like the Raiders defense adjusted and our pass protection really started to break down. You can actually see it in the highlight reel as he was being flushed out of the pocket when he made those runs. He started to have issues setting his feet and his ball placement was getting pretty bad in the second half.

Pretty much the same poo we have seen for a long time, the OL not being able to sustain any success in pass blocking. That's why Carr stayed clean and Teddy(although only sacked once) was pressured fairly often in the second half.

I was off on the timing but clearly they had the ball in the last 2 minutes of the game.  No I couldn't watch the game because I work on Sundays.  I listened to the game starting with our TD drive in the 4th on.

They ran 2 plays after the two minute warning which resulted in a turnover of downs and then they got the ball back with 8 seconds left...

Had nothing to do with their 2 minute offense

I said yesterday I was concerned with our offensive line breaking down as the game went on. I'm equally worried that they're going to break down further as the year goes on.

Basically what I expected. Not great. But not terrible either. When you score 30 you didn't lose due to your offense. But with that said, you're going to have to have the ability to win shootouts to win a Super Bowl in today's NFL.

Couldn't have said it better.  Offense should have been enough to win, but the coaches knew going into the season with how the team is structured the offense was going to have to carry the defense.

Would have been nice to have seen the defense stop the Raiders once we went up 30-27 or at least held them to a FG, but the offense still had a chance to be the heroes and they couldn't do it.

I was disappointed in the final series, but not the team overall.  Very reminiscent of the season opener in 2011 with Cam & Rivera.

Hopefully Rhule can learn faster than Rivera.  He is already putting the blame on himself which is a step up.

The game was exciting yesterday.  That all I am hoping for this season.

So wait, now Teddy is catching flack because “shootouts” while not getting to throw one ball on the last real series? Keep reaching!

When I said 2 minute Offens I was referring to playcalling on the last drive.  It seems you feel the same.  They should have put it in Teddy's hands instead of running over and over

Yeah, I didn’t overly have a problem with the calls until that 4th down call. It was 3rd and 4 in a obvious 4 down spot. So give it CMC and let him try to get it first and if not then see where you’re at. I didn’t like the call to Armah because we ran the exact same play a series or two before and he barely managed to pick up the half yard we needed then.

It wasn't bad.  I liked what I saw overall.  I'm kinda hoping the Raiders end up being sneaky good so it makes me feel better about losing to them, even though we shouldn't really have high expectations.

We could all feel even better about Teddy's performance were it not for some head-scratcher type playcalling late in the game.

Yep, I remember us discussing that. To that point, we sit at one game into the year and with a scheduled starter out with injury. We take too many more lumps on that already shaky unit and we are going to be looking at shades of 2019.
