I know he was below average but I still have more faith in him than Tahir Whitehead

he's great in the box, where boston seems to be terrible. i think he'd be an asset to be rotated out on obvious passing downs

Chinn looked great where he was, they just brought in a subpar player in Whitehead, then thought they could rely on him as a starter and are likely to regret it as long as he is on the field. Make better personel decisions not make 2 mistakes.

Reid would've been a good safety back on the 80s but the NFL has evolved away from that style of safety play.

I'd rather play our young guys. We kept a UDFA safety on the roster. Lets see what he has got.

I want Shaq in the middle, Chinn outside or SS, Burris/Boston as safeties, Pride and Douglas on the outside with Jackson at nickel. Carter can come in at outside lb for Jackson or Burris I’m running situations. Whitehead can’t stay in the middle...

I like the guys we have at safety. Only bring him in if some gets put on IR.  I do think Shaq would be a better fit at MLB. Whitehead was not attacking the correct gaps. See game winning touchdown by Jacobs. If he would have attacked the gap instead of dancing & guessing wrong, he could have stopped Jacobs for a loss.

I will say Tahir Whitehead appeared like he was giving the Raiders the game on multiple plays. Including the TD run in the 4th quarter. Whiteheard just appears hit the wrong hole on purpose.
