Cam is gone accept it... go pull for the pats, watching him lose to Russel tonight will be the highlight of the football day today.

Has nothing to do with Cam. Its the fact that we were finishing last this year regardless but instead of using cap space for the defense to allow us to compete next year we have 60 million tied up into two gloves kyle allen for 3 years

With this kind of roster turnover we were never gojng to be competitive this season my only gripe is not keeping the Bridgwater cap and rolling it to next season to build around TL.. .. Kyle Allen or Grier could give us this performance.

Browns are just an awful example of anything in the draft. The point still stands that Thomas and Jones don’t make a team a playoff team. They can make them better but a real franchise QB can make a team a playoff team. It’s funny because all posts about first round QBs have centered on winning SBs and that’s the wrong thing. That takes luck and timing. As if Luck was a bad pick because he didn’t get to the SB. They were 2-14 before Luck and 11-5 three straight years with him. Yep, couldn’t get by Brady and injuries did him in but would the Colts have made the playoffs with any of the castoff QBs and Walter Jones? Not IMHO.

Also, if you are going to say an injured Cam, Teddy, Winston and Rivers are “good” QBs available then your LT list is going to be way bigger. Okung is as good a LT as any of those QBs available minus Cam if he somehow shows that he’s back healthy. Then again the same healthy thing holds for Okung. In 2015 Oher was as good at LT as Rivers and Winston will be this year.

Browns are a bad example of everything. Still Thomas >>> any of those QBs. Super bowl wins is a bad way to judge QBs and any player including LT. Its the ultimate team sport, again for the 16th time- what good is it for #1 QB behind a awful OL? Thats been my point, the 2021 panther OL is looking like 5 new starters(some will be rookies, may be even UDFAs).

Quantity and quality have the QB group beating LT group. Please look at the players at QB and LT. Around 15 QBs you could win with, there isnt even 15 LTs in the league, many are just RT/OGs that start at LT. Theres only Tunsil and Stanley for great young versions and a few QBs that fit that - Burrow, Murphy, Wertz, Jackson, Watson, Mahomes etc etc etc. Sewell FTW!!!

Are people really clambering to draft a LT over Lawrence? Glad they’re not in charge. I wouldn’t trust them to draft a fantasy football team, let a lone the Panthers

Im just the guy want running your fantasy league-

This is a "big brain" thinking about picking Sewell and I fully understand wanting the QBs.

Honestly my fantasy football system has not changed since the first year. If you want any tips just ask, Im a open book. Im also a beast at basketball and baseball, just have not played in a while.

Last number 1 OT was Eric Fisher in 2013

Who drafted him? The defending SB champs KC Chiefs

However, the Chiefs weren't SB contenders until they got a QB.

You need a QB to win. Otherwise you better hope that you assemble a dominating defense like the 2013 Seahawks or 2015 Broncos. And those fall apart faster than a QB does, even ones badly mismanaged like Luck and Cam.

2013 was maybe the worst draft class of the last 10 years, petty bad. If Josh Rosen was in that class, he would have been the no question #1.

Would you draft a QB #1 overall and put them behind a suspect OL?

Btw- I believe two teams got locked out by cheating commissioners, one right after the league drafted and the other just before playoffs(I was 1st and clearly going to win). My ranking would be higher if not for those. I only had one team this year- Endstimetimeline... check under my huddle name brah... But Im sure I could photoshop alllllll these coincidences, like the polar bear shitting in my yahoo profile pic and my huddle name is Basbear. It would blow your mind to learn one of my real life nicknames is - Thee polar bear.
