Really hard being a Panthers fan today.

Meh. It's week 1. Even in the most normal of years you can't tell poo from week 1.

Not a big deal. Team got better in 2nd half. Defense looked like it started to come together a little.

New coach. Brand new team. It's just the beginning and they held their own.

They'll get it worked out.

only thing that doesn’t explain away....was Joe Brady being garbage with the game on the line.   That wasn’t a covid offseason.  That wasn’t new players.  That was an OC botching it by overthinking.

HS, college or pros.  That was a bad call.

It's his first game man. He's like 30 years old. He'll learn and get better.

Not really. We’ve been blatantly in the beginning of a rebuild phase for months now and I’m not sure what else one would expect. Rivera and Cam had to go, it was 100% time to move on from both. 1 week of “success” from them elsewhere doesn’t change anything.

With all the change thats happened with the team, and with what the offseason was like, today could have been a complete shitshow and it wan't.  Would have been nice to win.  Would have been nice to give it to CMC at the end.  All in all, I didn't know what to expect so I wasn't expecting much, made it pretty enjoyable to watch.

And look how much more limited the playbook is in those situations without Cam.

Regardless, that was a horrible playcall.

You don't put the ball in Alex's hands to decide the game. Give it to DJ, CMC, I don't care who, but not Alex. We don't have a big premier o-line that can blow up an opposing d-line, so you should expect a muddle in the middle, and then Alex running into the back of it and falling down as per usual. I was EXPECTING to see that. TB was pretty hot throwing the ball, and had 0 INTS. Run it with Alex? Holy smokes.

What else do you want (other than a win)? We're rebuilding, new coach, new scheme, new players, young D, and Teddy had a good game. Sorry he didn't run in two like someone else did. But he did throw for one, like someone else didn't. And who cares if Ron won. Coaches come and go. Neat, he beat the Iggles.

Now, if someone else runs for 2 TDs a game for the season ... ok, time to be angry. But that ain't happening.

We all know what this thread is really about.
