Official Raiders at Panthers Gameday thread!

Hate to say it...  first off, sticking with that FB dive when they came out and stacked the box and their DL looking to have the advantage over our OL all day was a huge mistake by Brady.  Second, if you're gonna stay in a heavy package on 4th and inches against a stacked box, I know a guy who would've converted it easy.  Just saying.  Horrible playcall.

I know you're not new here.  Teddy had an OK game.  He did have some high throws.  That comment though? Come on.

Yea that was hyperbole, with the stinkers we’ve had at QB. It was just my attempt to speak around a criticism that has been stuck to about one of our previous QBs who wasn’t ever as bad as we saw today.

very anti-climactic ending.  ultimately wrong play call to literally duplicate the FB play from earlier.  Was looking forward to seeing Teddy able to show off his final drive game winning skills to Panthers fans.  At this rate will probably get another chance sooner than later!

Haven’t watched yet but the score is telling. Offense was better than I thought and the defense is as bad as we all thought. U can’t give up 34 to the below average raiders. TB12 is gonna hang 50 on these boys...also 0 sacks. Not good

I would say the QB you are referring to was not as consistently bad at high throws as has been credited to him, but I think he had real bad halves. I think it had to do with injuries tho.  OTOH, his ability to rip open defenses so consistently made him a joy to watch.  Ah well.

I like Teddy fine and I think we can win with him, but man, the defense is going to make taht very hard... very hard for any QB

We'd have won with just a good defense.

I agree, although I actually saw a few positive things out there today.  The defensive line did a decent job at times clogging up the middle.  Most of the bigger runs were around the end.  I thought Douglas was ok, and might have had the play of the game had the other guy not screwed it up with the PI.  Chinn looks fairly solid.

The pass rush was weak, but so far, most of the games I have seen have had little to no pass rush. Defenses appear to be behind the offenses at this point, except for the Patriots.
