The Pats have bern known for not only heavy rotation on defense but even rotating offensive lineman. Who's calling them college coaches?

Y'all will go around your asshole to get to your elbow in trying to find a way to make a derogatory statement about things you dont comprehend.

In the end this is a building year and getting everyone involved and not injured is the goal.

Presenting opinion as fact is the national pastime of the Huddle

The better offensive teams typically counter by running a really fast tempo offense. It limits the amount of time you have to substitute.

Not every team can do that effectively, but it's a good tactic for the ones that can.

A lot of that has more to do with preventing teams from changing personnel groups for different formations.

Either way I expect us to rotate on the D-line like most teams do, and other players will change based on formations (for example base vs nickel vs dime) like most teams do, but I don't see us rotation our outside CBs as general rule over the course of a season.  You might see a little at the very start of the season with all of the rookies we have but it won't last.

We will see. The talk is almost done and I am past ready to not hear it any more.

Can’t wait to, at the bare minimum, have something tangible to discuss again after Sunday. With all the uncertainty looming, within the organization, within the nfl, and across the world at large, I think all of us have probably at least stared down the rabbit hole of conjecture a bit too often in the past few months.

Don’t worry, Snow will be fired in two years. If he isn’t then Expect Rhule gone in four. I’m giving Rhule max 4 years either way.

Rhule has stated that he doesn't fire assistant coaches, so if the need arises that's going to lead to some real interesting conversations.

That's all we have had this offeason. The draft showed some stuff but just glimpses. I'm ready to see what is what. Tomorrow can't come fast enough.

In today’s press meeting, Phil snow was asked how much they will be rotating players.

He said he expects they will rotate players more than most teams do. Called it a “philosophical”  thing. They want to limit snaps and wear and tear on all players.

I’m skeptical but It will be interesting if he and Rhule hold to this.

Lol

There aren’t any Div 2s in the NFL. Goid luck with all of that

I was speaking of D2 teams, not players.

Talk to me after NFL QBS see that ‘rotation’ of the very talented Panthers defensive roster  complete with a MLB,  also a Baylor friend of Rhule’s, who had the worst record against passes defended

we can them really talk about ‘asinine’

He’s known for blitzing , Derek Carr is going to get destroyed I can’t wait to blow them out

Good with the speed the Raiders possess on offense , the Carolina Panthers defense  opens themselves up to given up some very big plays.  I hope the  panthers come out with that game plan , as I like to see some quick Raider  early scores .     Also suck the Panthers defense lineman in , and set up the screen , and get the big offense lineman out front blocking for them.

Ok apologies. I inferred you meant players because it’s tautological that there are no D2 teams in the NFL.

This is going to be a disaster

Maybe, I wasnt a fan and that hasnt changed much. Ron ran its course and ANY new coach would have been welcomed, similar to the owner deal. I do like the fact Rhule is what a head coach needs to be. The league has fell into this awful time-line that if youre a great offensive or defensive coordinators, youd be a great HC. That has proven to be a mistake, rare cases have worked. Rhule is not either of those, it seems hes a pure HC.

They were in the big-10 and figured out how to play at the top within three years. That was a great accomplishment, even after I kid about Baylor being a powerhouse.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride, I think its going to be bumpy this year. Also unless teams release lots of prime players in 2021, Rhule will have to use the draft to build this team. 2022 either the plan will work or Carolina is looking for another Head Coach.
