I like the philosophy but we don’t have the depth to do it without a significant drop off in performance, especially back 7

I mean most of our starters suck too.  That’s probably the main reason we’ll be rotating.

(by most I mainly mean the secondary and LBs, plus our defensive line is extremely inexpeeienced)

The Pats have been known for not only heavy rotation on defense but even rotating offensive lineman. Who's calling them college coaches?

Y'all will go around your asshole to get to your elbow in trying to find a way to make a derogatory statement about things you dont comprehend.

In the end this is a building year and getting everyone involved and not injured is the goal.

Burns will be non factor this game as long as Trent Brown out there.  Trent Brown one of the best Rt in the game.

Gotta beat the best to be the best.  Should be a good test for one of the upcoming defensive stars in the NFL.

But all you need is one play to be a factor and change the game... but Brian Burns will make plenty.

We have always rotated heavily on the front four. Most teams do, but I feel like we did more than most, but I haven't actually looked at snap counts to confirm. I don't see a huge need to heavily rotate at the other positions.

Honestly, this just feels like a college coach mentality.

The better offensive teams typically counter by running a really fast tempo offense. It limits the amount of time you have to substitute.

Not every team can do that effectively, but it's a good tactic for the ones that can.

Alex Grinch for Oklahoma did the same poo last year, and is doing it today. It is a College Coach mentality.
