The catch rule keeps changing and I have no clue. Did he have control long enough for that to be a catch, or do they still need to maintain the control through the process of going to the ground?

Ball was out and he didn’t secure it. Not a catch IMO.

I'm not sure he ever actually had it controlled at any point.
