How Will You Overreact to Sunday's Game?

This is one of the things I've missed most about football in the last 7 years of COVID since we last got to watch the greatest game in the world. Everyone's guilty of it at some point, and it'll come out in droves on Sunday afternoon/evening and Monday. So might as well get a head start on it. I'm talking things like "KB tore his ACL we're fuged 3-13" and "Kyle Allen is next franchise QB we're winning the NFCS."

So... If we lose big on Sunday what's your overreaction? When we win big on Sunday what's your overreaction?

I'll throw mine out there: Rhule will prove to be the best coach in the NFL right now outside of only 2: Belichick and Reid. When we crush the LV Raiders hopes and dreams on Sunday it will be clear that Rhule can take a team of random Baylor and Temple college scrubs to the Super Bowl and win it.

Hard for me to overreact at this point in the state of the franchise. Not to step on your question but it really is..

I am sippin the “our offense should be damn good” juice though. If they don’t look good I’m going to be annoyed at a lack of entertainment after having hopeful expectations and a long offseason.

If we lose big?

I'll start a go fund me to put up 2 billboards.  Fire Rhule! will be billboard #1.  And then a Bring Cam Back!  will be billboard #2.   I'll obviously wait until after the results of the NE game before committing to the Cam one.  If NE loses, 2nd billboard will be Tank for Trevor.

If we win big?

Full back tat of Teddy.   I'll name my next son after both Rhule and Brady.

I can tell you that I don't think another sex change operation will change our luck---but you never know.....(Joke).  Its always hard when you lose a game and are no longer undefeated. (that was a secondary joke--you thought the first one was the only joke--then bam! another joke.)

I’ll be pissed if we lose...I always am

Me too. When expectations are higher (2013-18 for me) it lingers much longer though. I can't honestly say I was anywhere near as pissed after losses last year (especially after Cam went on IR) as I was in previous years. And while it would still sting this year I think I'll be able to enjoy watching the team develop more this year, win or lose. Of course still gonna root for and hope we take the league by storm and make the playoffs and be pissed if we're out of it by midseason but also understand reality of having so much roster turnover and a new coaching staff.

I probably won't overreact. I am settled in to expecting what will probably be one of the worst seasons in franchise history, so I don't think I will get too high or too low.

Maybe I will overreact a little about Bridgewater if he doesn't have his best season in the NFL. There is no reason he shouldn't put up career best numbers across the board. Otherwise....waste of fuging money.

Yeah I try not to overreact too much either and when I do it's always more false positive than sky is falling stuff but I'll admit if Teddy faceplants I will be really fuging pissed off. Considering how we targeted him and the contract we gave him, even if the team's plan is for him to be a bridge QB for a future draft pick, he better damn well at least look good enough to be a mid-low end starter/game manager, ala Alex Smith or Tyrod Taylor, etc. and with McC and our solid wide receivers the stats better reflect that.
