That works both ways brother.  If they beat the Raiders it doesn't mean they are world beaters either.   Just saying.

True, but they're a litmus test on how long it's actually going to take to become viably competitive in my opinion.

I think you should know something by the end of this season, if there is one.  What that will be I cannot see in my crystal ball.  Ask my at the end of the season and I may have an opinion one way or another.  Until then let's hope it's entertaining at least.

I'll ask again since you ducked and ran last time - have you ever contributed anything to this forum other than criticizing someone else being willing to state an opinion? I can point out numerous recent posts of mine where I've stated positive things about the Panthers.

Good pass rushers tend to get more chances to get healthy or rebound. Kind of like QBs. Plus we would take a cap hit cutting him. I think the thought was more on extending average players to big contracts. KK was playing great when we extended him...

stbugs has a hard on to get rid of Short. If he is bad this year, I will agree with him. IMO, he is going to play very well this year(if healthy). If he plays poorly or is banged up all year, I will say stbugs was correct.
