This list involves the active roster, IR, Practice Squad, and all other inactive lists related to players still being paid by the Panthers.  Colleges with 3 or more players identified as Panthers:

Baylor``                  3

Lot of guys who are used to training in hot weather. (Just trying to find a silver lining here.)

We have more players from Temple than any other school. Yikes. That's not a good sign.

Clearly we want to build a team full of mentally tough guys.  You won't see them pouting and devastated in a corner like Cam because of a loss.  Those dudes definitely know how to deal with an L.

Every college to pro coach struggled with this to an extent. They tend to go with the guys they know.

Yeah, I am not sure I want a team made of guys used to losing.

True. Gotta remember, the main goal of this season is for Rhule to instill his process and change the atmosphere. Guys familiar with what he expects are the best way to do that.

Yeah, it doesn't usually lead to a lot of success with those specific players but I completely understand the mentality and the safety blanket nature of the move.

I was really just joking around.  Eye balling that list though is just a weird breakdown though.   I think the tone of every team is set at the top. 

So largely that is all that matters to me.   Coaches and the leadership on the roster set that tone.   But those are unknowns too IMO.  Coaches aside.   Do we have players that won't accept it.  We had those guys in the past.   Not sure I can name one presently.  Doesn't mean we don't have them.  I can't ID a 89.  A Cam.  A Luke.

It looks fishy but only like 3 actually played under Rhule between Baylor and Temple. I expect this to change in consecutive years as the roster develops.

I think Rhule was the HC in college for all of them except 1.  He was the OC on that team.

I may be wrong but I only counted Anderson, Franklin, and Roy played under Rhule as HC

He was a HC  for everyone at some point except Whitehead I believe.  But he was on the coaching staff for Whitehead's Temple team.
