Teddy Bridgewater on his way to being a franchise face

According to good morning football, Teddy Bridgewater is the next Carolina Panthers franchise QB.

That would be amazing. I really like how Teddy has come in and gotten to work.

Now, if only he plays well, that's kind of important.

That part. The rest is nice but if that doesn't happen then it's all wasted breath. He has never sniffed it but who really knows, maybe he is an exceptionally late bloomer.

I like Teddy. He seems like a good dude.

But everthing about his play during his career and the contract he signed screams that he's a placeholder who is here because he's familiar with Joe Brady's offense.

Different era of football. As much as I love Jake, Jake Delhomme isn't getting you to the Super Bowl in the modern NFL.

Jake Delhomme isn’t good enough though. Not for what we let go. And Jake at least had a magic that Teddy has yet to show.  
 

Teddy has to play like a superstar to be the franchise. Otherwise we’re definitely hunting for a QB in the draft. The franchise QB is starting in NE.

I like Teddy and hope he plays well, but hes nothing more than stopgap between us and Justin Fields/Trey Lance.

Quite a few Jake Delhomme types have made it to the Super Bowl in this era.
