matchup Las Vegas Raiders at Carolina Panthers - What do you know?

Right now, I know less about the capabilities of the 2020 Panthers team than I'd know about their opening week opponents in a regular season.

I have no earthly idea how this is going to turn out. Literally any team in the league could be better than imagined or tragically worse than ever before. 

Truth be told, it makes it pretty exciting!

It really does. I am more excited now than last season for sure. The Rivera days had become too predictable and underwhelming.

Going to be a close one but I think we pull off an upset with CMC having a big game rushing and receiving. Their secondary seems suspect so I hope that can be exploited.

i think it comes down to our ability to rush the QB on key downs and situations. They have a solid OL so it will not be easy.

Pretty much all I know at this point:

1.  The people who have been bitching and complaining for the past 9 months about how bad the defense is gonna be will takeover the game day thread to bitch and complain about how bad the defense is. 

2.  The people who have been bitching and complaining For the past 6 months about Cam getting released will be watching the NE game and take over the game day thread to insert stats/plays/snarky comments to bitch and complain about Cam getting released  

3.  A few folks will accept the season for what it is, hopefully see the growth potential as well as the gaping flaws, and actually enjoy watching their favorite team play whether we win or lose.

I don’t know much about this team.  I think the singular thing I will most interested in....is our ability to play the run on defense.    Can we do that better than last year.  Last year would have been a total different season if we had that ability.

What is the percentage of definitive statements that will be made in post-game threads, regardless of outcome?

I think the 4-3 will help the run.

I know Eli Apple isn't practicing today which isn't a great sign. Hopefully, he can increase activity as we get close to Sunday.
