General NFL Cuts Thread - Who might we get?

Cut our 5th rounder AND a fringe player who was just told he made it..? BAD Business..

I feel as if our WR corps is better than it has ever been--so I am not that worried about 4-7.  I would rather spend the roster spot and money at TE.

I believe this will happen if I understand the 2020 rules correctly(many changes this yr). If you are on the 53 roster on Saturday Sep 12 at 4pm, you can be IR'd AND come back within three weeks. There is no limit this year on players coming back form IR, so long you follow what I listed. I think Keith Underwood will be IR'd at 4:01 and panthers will bring up the top practice squad guy. Bayless is done for the year, if my understanding of the new rules is right. Honestly the panthers have decent starters (except ST), just very top heavy at most spots like WR.

I have been tuned out, especially with the rules---counting on Huddlers to set me straight--they usually do.  Top heavy, but in a pinch, I would think Roberts or Underwood and Cooper could serve us as 4-7.  I am very excited, by the way, by the 3 players we picked up today.

His 2020 salary was basically guaranteed already so he wasn’t really in danger. I assume they are hoping to get him healthy so they can trade him. Releasing him nets them nothing.

Turns out I had my dates mixed up, this past Saturday (4pm)was the deadline. Now any IR player can come back within 3 weeks. No limit on IR returns either, I dont know how the convid list works during the season. Id guess you can sign a player, but dont know the time table.
