Connelly started three of four games in 2019 before suffering a torn ACL. It's surprising that the Giants opted to let him go, but perhaps he lost a step due to the injury. Considering he recorded 20 tackles, a sack and two interceptions over just 195 defensive snaps last season, Connelly probably has strong football instincts, so another team could scoop him off waivers and give him a chance.

Less than a year after an ACL injury?  Lost a step?  It could be that he is not quite rehabbed yet--although he was cleared for camp.  Considering the circumstances of this offseason, I would sign him.  Whitehead is not the answer.

I am more curious about no TE.

Granted, none of our TEs we cut got picked up.  So can probably move one of those to PS if needed.

Disappointing about Kenny Robinson. He was drafted too high to be cut in year 1.
