General NFL Cuts Thread - Who might we get?

have u seen our #4-7 WRs?

Good question.  I really want to see what they can get from Cooper---and then you have Roberts making millions--I still think he could get cut. I dunno.  Bayless could be joining the team later---they seemed to like him.

I feel as if our WR corps is better than it has ever been--so I am not that worried about 4-7.  I would rather spend the roster spot and money at TE.

Everyone's favorite former 2019 Panthers lineman, Daryl Williams, cut by the Broncos. Unsurprisingly most of our old draft picks are proving to be trash elsewhere too.

To be fair, most draft picks that end up on another roster before their "prime" years are past them without being traded tend to be mid to late round picks which were a gamble to begin with. I tend to think this is true across the league and not just true to us, although it would be interesting to see some stats nerds like 538 run an analysis.

ILB Ryan Connelly  (I have not read this entire thread, but I was very surprised to hear this name released)

Connelly started three of four games in 2019 before suffering a torn ACL. It's surprising that the Giants opted to let him go, but perhaps he lost a step due to the injury. Considering he recorded 20 tackles, a sack and two interceptions over just 195 defensive snaps last season, Connelly probably has strong football instincts, so another team could scoop him off waivers and give him a chance.

Check out our depth chart at ILB.

Less than a year after an ACL injury?  Lost a step?  It could be that he is not quite rehabbed yet--although he was cleared for camp.  Considering the circumstances of this offseason, I would sign him.  Whitehead is not the answer.
